Brown bag seminar: The Report of the Swedish School Commission
Welcome to CEMO's weekly Brown Bag seminars in methodology. This week's seminar is about the report of the Swedish School Commission, and will be given by Professor II and previous director at CEMO, Jan-Eric Gustafsson.
In May 2015 a Swedish School Commission was established with the tasks to suggest how to improve the declining student achievement, how to reverse the increasing inequity, and how to improve quality of teaching. On April 20, 2017, the Commission will hand over its report to the Ministry of Education. At the Brown Bag Seminar, Jan-Eric Gustafsson, who has chaired the Commission since September 2016, will present the report and its recommendations.
The seminar is open to everybody. Participants bring along their lunch, listen to the presentation, discuss scientific topics, give feedback, and socialize.
