The outcomes of the conference will be three-fold:
- Scholarly dissemination of its debates and results through the book publication “Current issues in research on standard setting” edited by CEMO. This will extend beyond already available literature by providing review papers from high-profile experts concerning crucial issues of standard setting enriched by high-quality research papers about most recent advancements in research on standard setting. The book is intended to be published in the Springer Series “Methodology of Educational Measurement and Assessment”, edited by Bernard Veldkamp and Matthias von Davier (http://www.springer.com/series/13206).
- Public dissemination of its policy-related debates and results in terms of public relation work with the national media in the Nordic countries
- Strengthened international and Nordic research collaboration through a topic-related network, and facilitated opportunities for exchanging expertise
