Academic interests

One of my academic interests is individual requirements for education, in which field I among other things work on various models of structuring cognitive abilities, such as the Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test and other instruments for accessions to higher education. Another interest deals with effects from education in knowledges and skills, which I have studied for instance through international comparative surveys. Questions about educational organization and the meaning of different kinds of resources, such as teacher competences, also belong to my field of interests. Another research activity which has been paralell to the similar research has been intentional development of quantitative methods with a focus on measuring and statistical analysis.

Teaching interests

My academic interests mainly come to expression in teaching quantitative methods and assisting PhD students.
