NATED Network Travel Support

As part of the NATED aim to contribute towards competence building and internationalization of research education and educational research, NATED may support travel and living expenses for short visits to international institutions by NATED members. The support may be granted for visits that aim at establishing and strengthening scientific networks relevant for NATED PhD students.

The support may be either

• for individual seniors to visit PhD students during international research stays, or
• for groups of seniors and juniors jointly visiting an international research institution
   

Applications may be submitted at any point throughout the year, to the NATED secretariat, post@nated.uio.no

Applications should contain the following information

1) About the applicant(s): Name, contact information, work (and programme) institution, track affiliation
2) Host institution
3) Purpose of visit
4) Relevance to the PhD student/s involved
5) Travel plan
6) Budget

Expenses that may be covered

• Travel expenses (cheapest mode of travel)
• Living costs  

The applicants’ home/programme institution will advance the granted sum, and invoicing will follow the established procedures for NATED expenditures.
