Professional experience: I am currently working as a researcher at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research. My work includes analyzing data from TIMSS and other large scale surveys such as PISA and TALIS, collecting data for TIMSS, supervision (PhD and master students), and publishing articles and reports. I collaborate with CEMO first and foremost, but also with EKVA, University of Gothenburg and other institutions.

Prior to this I worked with professional development of teachers at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. I have also worked as a teacher in mathematics and science in high school.

Education: I  have a PhD in science education, and a master in astrophysics. In addition I have studied pedagogy (PPU) and programming.

Research interests: Educational measurement and quantitative methods, causality, teaching quality and instructional quality, school climate, equity, international large-scale surveys, science and mathematics education.
