InterMedia is an interdisciplinary research centre that aims to push the boundaries of design and use of digital environments in communication, interaction and learning.
InterMedia conducts research within the following areas:
- communication design
- design and learning in education
- ICT and learning at work
InterMedia has:
- organised research training through national, Nordic and European initiatives
- a lab for developing digital tools for use in pedagogical processes
- a team that produces audio-visual learning materials, documentaries and research communication for web and television
