PhD data session: Lucia Müller

PhD data session for InterMedia and PFI PhD students: Lucia Müller, University of Hamburg, a visiting PhD at the TransAction research group, will present a set of data for her thesis: “Personal, mobile computers as connecting link between teenagers’ media appropriation inside and outside of school?”

Lucia Müller will present data which consists of case studies with qualitative data, including media diaries, participating observations in schools, and semi-structured interviews with students. The method she applies is Philipp Mayring's qualitative content analysis.

Commentators for the session will be professor Ola Erstad, PhD student Solveig Roth from PFI, and PhD student Sven Magne Bakken from InterMedia.

During the session, we will also raise suggestion for how to further organize these events, so that all of us have input into it.
