About the Lab at InterMedia

The lab at InterMedia perform production based research in design, communication, dissemination and learning. The lab supports the research environments at the University of Oslo within these fields of knowledge. We pay special attention to development and experimentation. Exploratory communication design performed by the lab varies. It benefits from the border crossings of projects as diverse as hybrid wiki/mobile learning tools, collaborative research communication projects, generative art productions and video-based web-resources. The design of learning environments is one of our main interests and the lab supports this area in a range of applied projects. We also explore the potential of dissemination in digital media together with the video production group at InterMedia and researchers at the University of Oslo.

Projects involving the lab are supported by technical and conceptual infrastructures, among them is EngageLab.
