Based on an understanding of text as comprising multiple modalities, the team of curators, educators, and researchers investigate the potential of digital representations, social media, and interaction design to support dialogue and a deeper understanding of Munch's art.
Aims and Objectives
- To document how visitors to Munch gallery currently use texts and other materials
- To experiment with social media and 'multimodal texts' in mediating Munch's art
- To research how visitors engage, experience and learn with technologies in art museums
- To better understand how digitally-enhanced exhibition spaces may be integrated into new museum building
