Artikkelen «Balancing Ethics and Quality in Educational Research – the Ethical Matrix Method» av Reidun Tangen, publisert i Scandinavian Journal of Educational Research i 2013, er valgt ut til å inngå tre-bindsverket “Research Ethics in Practice” som ble gitt ut på SAGE i desember 2015.
Tangens artikkel er trykt i bind I, Power, politics and reflexivity. Verket utgis i serien Fundamentals of Applied Research.
Professoren, som har jobbet med forskningsetiske problemstillinger i store deler av sin forskerkarriere, utformet en ny modell for forskningsetisk refleksjon, med inspirasjon fra blant annet bioetikk. Rammeverket, som er en matrisemodell, ble publisert i Scandinavian Journal of Educational Research i 2013.
