Bestselling book out in new edition

Anders Skrondal, Professor II at CEMO, has just published his 13th and 14th books! His bestselling two volumes on Multilevel and Longitudinal Modeling Using Stata, written with his long-time collaborator Sophia Rabe-Hesketh at UC Berkeley, are now out in their fourth edition.

The first volume treats continuous responses and the second volume considers categorical responses (dichotomous, ordinal and nominal), counts, and survival/duration data.

Anders believes that the success of the book is due to a unique combination of demonstrating how to use statistical software in practice and explaining a wide range of useful models and estimators from (bio)statistics, psychometrics, and econometrics. It has, for instance, been used in teaching at Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley and London School of Economics.
