Academic interests
My main research interests are invariance in large scale assessments, score comparability, linking, and item response theory. I am currently working in the Embracing Heterogeneity Project whose principal investigators are Dr. David Rutkowski and Dr. Leslie Rutkowski.

Background
I was a secondary school teacher for over 10 years; teaching Mathematics and Technical Drawing at Bwaila Secondary School. I have also held several part-time lecturing positions in Statistics and Psychology at the Malawi College of Health Sciences and Daeyang College of Nursing respectively. I have also been a research assistant, enumerator, and research data collection supervisor for several surveys and research studies.
I have attended workshops in HIV/AIDS Prevention and AwarenessTraining (2008) and Behavior Change Intervention Training (2007). I was a member of the Teachers Union of Malawi (TUM).
