Academic interests

I am currently conducting an inquiry into the inter-subject difficulties using Norwegian GPA data. Ensuring an "A" in one subject is comparable to an "A" in another is important in upholding test fairness and there has been studies overseas suggesting mismatches in subject difficulties. I wish to detect any variations in subject difficulties using Norwegian registry data and explore possible statistical procedures that may assist with grade realignment.

Background

After obtaining my economics and accounting degrees from the Australian National University, I practised in the professional service industry as a business and taxation advisor. My passion for business education then led me back to the University of Melbourne for a teaching degree. I hold teacher registrations in both South Australia and Norway and have remained active in both pedagogical practice and research.
