SISCO brown-bag seminar: use of feedback in Icelandic lower secondary classrooms

Two visiting researchers from Iceland discuss the use of feedback in Icelandic lower secondary classrooms.

Research group Studies of Instruction across Subjects and Competences (SISCO) at Faculty of Educational Sciences holds a brown-bag seminar. At this seminar two visiting researchers from Iceland Birna María B. Svanbjörnsdóttir (University of Akureyri) and Berglind Gísladóttir (University of Iceland) present there ongoing work "Quality of the stated purpose and the use of feedback in Icelandic lower secondary classrooms: Results from video study". Both researchers are affiliated with the Nordic centre of excellence Quality in Nordic Teaching QUINT and visit University of Oslo with the purpose of further collaborations under LISA Nordic study and Theme on developing video-based teacher training. Analysis Svanbjörnsdóttir and Gísladóttir present at this seminar is a direct outcome of the ongoing work in LISA Nordic Iceland in QUINT.
