Brown Bag Seminar: Fredrik Helland-Riise
Title: Presentation of a research design for studying the measurement qualities of the Norwegian Session tests.
Abstract: The main aim of this study is to investigate how the tests measure men and women, by employing Stark, Chernychenko and Drasgow’s method of investigating partial invariance (DOI: 10.1037/0021-9010.91.6.1292). The measures are three intelligence tests numbering thirty to fifty items each. The data consist of a large number of adolescents about to finish secondary school. It has been collected over several years by the Norwegian military, with a changing sample composition, which also needs to be taken into account.
