Teaching portofolio

A teaching portfolio is a structured and documented presentation of your teaching competence. The portfolio provides an overall picture of how you plan, carry out, assess, and further develop teaching and supervision, and how this is grounded in educational theory and reflection.

The purpose of the teaching portfolio is to make visible the quality, breadth, and development of your teaching work – not just to list activities, but to show how experiences have been analysed, justified, and used for improvement.

A teaching portfolio is used, among other things, for

  • appointment to teaching and research positions
  • promotion and assessment of competence
  • recognition as a distinguished Educator

How can you create your own teaching portfolio?
