Sneak peak at Teaching Learning Video Lab on November 30th

The Research Council of Norway has granted funds for creating infrastructure around the use of video material in research and teaching. eVir is to be a national initiative for creating this kind of infrastructure, working together with The Data Protection Official, the University Center for Information Technology in Oslo and research communities.

On November 30th we will be presenting some of the possibilities in this project.

10:00 Welcome - by Kirsti Klette

          The purpose of TLVlab and eVir. Who are these resources for? Where do we go from here?

10:30 Presentation: options when storing data - by Torgeir Christiansen.

          Storing and permission, archiving, databases for metadata and digital vaults.

11:00 Presentation: equipment for collecting data - by Torgeir Christiansen and
          Bjørn Sverre Gulheim..

Lunch

12:00 Tools for analysis (Kirsti Klette)
Working with data, examples from the project Linking Instruksjon and Student Achievment (LISA), data analysis program Interact.

We will finish around 3 PM.
