I'm a professor in mathematics education with a background as upper secondary school teacher in mathematics and social sciences. 

My research interests are collective mathematical reasoning and how different mathematical arguments are constructed and used in reasoning. Other areas where I have done research are affect, in particular emotions and motivation, and gender. 

I am on the editorial board for Educational Studies in Mathematics and International Journal of Science and mathematics Education. I am on the board for the graduate school ASSESS located at Gothenburg university, Stockholm University and Uppsala Universiy. At the present moment, I am the PI for the research project Fair share (skolfi.se, presentation in Swedish).
