CHANGE meeting with Michael Evans

The research group CHANGE will host a meeting with Associate Professor Michael A. Evans from the Department of Learning Sciences and Technologies at Virginia Tech.

Evans teaches graduate courses in learning sciences, multimedia cognition, digital media and learning, and instructional multimedia development. His current areas of expertise include adopting video game mechanics, social media, and social networking to enhance formal and informal STEM learning.

Professor Evans participates in the EU Stellar Theme Team MuSuCoL (Multiple Surfaces for Collaborative Learning) along with Palmyre Pierroux and Ole Smørdal from InterMedia, among others.

Researchers are invited to join us to hear about research at his department and participate in an informal discussion of shared areas of interest.
