Representatives for election
Representatives of the Faculty Board will be elected from the following election groups:
- Employees in temporary academic positions - for a period of 1 year
- Students - for a period of 1 year
Submit representatives for election:
Representatives for temporary academic employees can be proposed up to and including September 13th 2026.
Representatives for students can be proposed up to and including September 13th 2026.

Who can nominate candidates and how?
You can only nominate candidates from your own electoral groups. Your submission for representatives can be sent through Nettskjema. You can also suggest yourself as a representative.
In order to be selected, a candidate must:
- Be employed throughout the election period
- Students must be semester registered
In order to suggest candidates for the election:
- You need to have at least a 50 % position or hold a professor II position
- Your right to vote is revoked if you work outside the university and therefore are on unpaid leave from your position
- Students must be semester registered
Voting rights
You have the right to vote within the electoral group you are a part of:
- Temporary academic employees
- You need to have at least a 50 % position or have a professor II position
- Students
- You must be semester registered to have the right to vote
Election schedule
Submission deadline: September 13th 2026 (students and temporary academic employees)
Online announcement of candidates:
September 28th 2026 (students and temporary academic employees)
The election will be conducted electronically in the period October 12th 2026 - October 19th 2026.
The election results will be announced in week 44.
