Valid reasons for absence must be documented and include the following:
- If you, or a person for whom you are the primary caretaker, are ill
- Childbirth
- Death of a close relative
- Other substantial reasons outside of your own control
The deadline can only be postponed up to 14 days, and not after the semester has ended.

If you have been ill over a longer period of time and need a longer extension you can apply a Leave of absence and/ or delay
