Background
I am a researcher at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research (ILS) and, since September 2023, the national research coordinator for ICILS (International Computer and Information Literacy Study).
With nearly two decades of experience, I have contributed to many international and national studies, including TIMSS, TIMSS Advanced, ICCS, PISA, TALIS, ICILS, DiCTE (Digital Competence in Teacher Education), and national math screening initiatives for primary school.
My work combines project coordination, research based mainly on quantitative analyses of large scale assessment data, and the reporting/dissemination of findings.
My current research focuses on digital competence, computational thinking, and students’ use of digital technology. I have also published studies on students’ physics competence and factors influencing school climate.
