Doctoral project:

Learning to teach and doing teaching in the third space. The perspectives of pre-service teachers and teacher educators in school-university partnerships

This study aims to explore professional practice in teacher education, more specifically school-university partnerships in the third space, as there is limited – yet growing body of empirical literature- on the issue within the field. This study investigates how scholarly literature has perceived and examined third spaces and how teacher educators, based at schools and universities, and pre-service teachers perceive their roles in partnerships for professional practice in a teacher education program in Norway. Through this research project, I aim to contribute to a better quality of teacher education and partnerships in Norway and, potentially, beyond.
