Academic interests
My main interest lies where pedagogy intersects with the study of political emotions.
In my PhD project “(D)EMOREP” I will explore the emotional dimension of children’s representation and participation, considering children as a diverse, non-monolithic group.
By employing discourse analysis and restricting the study to Norwegian educational discourse, the project will contribute to understanding the role and place of (political) emotions- by and about children- in (democratic) education.
