Inga Bostad is currently Professor of Philosophy, department of Education, University of Oslo. She was appointed director for the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights at the Faculty of Law, UiO from 2014-2017, elected Pro-rector for the University of Oslo from 2009-2013 and the first appointed Vice-rector for the University of Oslo from 2006-2009. She held the posistion as Professor 2 at Oslo School of Architecture and Design from 2017-2022.
She is head of the research group HumStud, Humanities Studies in Pedagogy and project leader of the comparative research group NordEd (The Nordic Education Model).
