- Socioeconomic background and education
- Educational equity
I research how students’ motivation, well-being, and socioeconomic background influence their subject choices and academic performance in upper secondary school. I am particularly interested in the transition from lower to upper secondary education and how students choose between academic tracks such as STEM and Non-STEM. My work uses data from Norwegian schools to contribute knowledge that can help make schools more equitable and supportive for all students.
