Organization

The Department of Special Needs Education (ISP) focuses on teaching, research and dissemination of knowledge within special education. The Department has several educational programmes, both on bachelor and master levels.

The Department of Special Needs Education has approximately 70 employees, of which 15 are PhD research fellows and 14 administrative staff. About 900 students are taking courses in bachelor and master programmes in special needs education. One of our master programmes and the PhD programme is offered in English.

Every year the Department organizes the Jonas award event.
