Academic interests
My primary field of research is behavioral economics, with a particular focus on education. I study what influences investment in human capital, as well as how people's preferences for reducing inequality depend on characteristics such as gender, age and innate abilities. My work is mainly empirical and combines experiments in controlled lab and field settings with rich administrative data from large, nationally representative samples.
