Flexible, robust, and scalable estimation methods

As assessments become more focused on computer-based tests and include new types of information, such as log file data and response times, the demands on computing resources will rise. This research area will propose new estimation methods and new inferential tools for analysing innovative tasks, complex cognitive skills, repeated measurements, and process data, and to apply the methods in analyses of educational assessments. The specific areas of application are, for example, the Norwegian national assessments, international large-scale assessments and computer-based learning platforms.
