We’re exploring how people access and interact with historical documents on social media. During the period 1 May–30 September, 2016, we’ll be regularly posting texts, drawings, and photographs from the Norwegian Folklore Archive to Twitter and Facebook. Our posts will experiment with different genres of archival material and different formats for presenting historical sources online.
We’re curious about whether people on social media find some kinds of posts more interesting or accessible than others, and how compatible documents from the archive are with the format of social media.
