  The article presents a review of 34 studies conducted from 1995 to 2017 focusing on face-to-face promotive interaction (FtFPI) factors that may lead to successful cooperative learning (CL) in small groups, as guided by the following research question: “Which FtFPI factors lead to successful CL in small groups?“ A manual and citation database search were used to find relevant studies. The findings indicate that students’ interpersonal behavior, their experiences and active participation in the CL process, communication and support to each other, and teachers’ influence on promoting students’ interaction leading to successful CL in small groups. Moreover, these factors may lead to students’ deep learning. However, the review suggests that systematic preparations must be made by both teachers and students if the CL is to be successful. Thus, more empirical research is needed to understand the complexity of students’ FtFPI and to investigate the development of FtFPI based on students’ and teachers’ experiences in small CL groups.

  Artikkelsamlingen er tredje bok fra prosjektet “Norsk lærebokhistorie – en kultur- og danningshistorie”, et treårig forskningsprosjekt finansiert av Norges forskningsråd og lokalisert til Høgskolen i Vestfold. Boken inneholder 15 artikler som gjør et nedslag i en eller noen få lærebøker i enkelte fag, mens andre gir oversiktsanalyser som spenner over et langt tidsrom. Flere artikler tematiserer lesebøker, litteraturutvalg og kanonproblemtikk innenfor norskfaget, men også fagene kristendomskunnskap, engelsk, sløyd, heimstadlære og samfunnskunnskap er omtalt. Samlet har prosjektet publisert en lang rekke artikler som viser noe av bredden i det lærebokhistoriske forskningsfeltet og synliggjør betydningen av historisk kunnskap om en av skolens helt sentrale tekster; læreboka.

  Partout et toujours, les hommes, façonnés par leur culture, ne cessent de chercher des explications au handicap, ce signe de leur chétivité qu'ils ne parviennent pas à « naturaliser ». C'est à cette quête, donnant lieu à un cours tumultueux de représentations collectives, que s'intéresse cet ouvrage à plusieurs voix. Il « fait assaut contre les frontières » pour proposer un voyage sur le continent océanien, en pays Kanak et aux Îles Marquises ; en Amérique du Nord, chez les Inuits du Grand Nord et au Canada ; en Amérique du Sud, au Brésil, en pays amérindien, au Surinam et en Guyane ; sur le continent asiatique, en Chine et au Liban ; en Afrique, au Sénégal, au Congo-Brazzaville, en Algérie et à La Réunion ; sur le continent européen, en Italie, en Norvège, en Allemagne, en Grande-Bretagne, au Portugal et en France. Par-delà la multiplicité des cultures et des représentations, cette fresque anthropologique montre que les personnes en situation de handicap restent, ici et là-bas, les proies d'un monde imaginaire, alimenté par des croyances immémoriales ayant fait souche, qui fabrique lui-même « du handicap ». Elle met au jour la difficulté universelle à penser ce qui réunit l'homme et à accepter la condition humaine telle qu'elle est, non comme on l'imagine. Elle souligne que la chose la mieux partagée du monde est le désarroi angoissé des hommes face à leur vulnérabilité, avec diverses manières de l'esquiver, la compenser, la conjurer ou l'évacuer, mais avec le même rêve paradoxal de se désencombrer de leur humanité. What main themes, problems and central terminology, focus points and differences have characterised it? What aspects of the historical and societal context has the discipline touched, and how have historical and societal aspects influenced it? These questions contribute to the construction of the historical recording presented here. The presentation offers a view of history from the standpoint of the principle of inclusive education, discussed in other articles in this book.

  Utgangspunktet for dette idehistoriske doktorgradsarbeidet er prinsippene om tilrettelagt opplæring i skolen for alle - den inkluderende skole. Boka handler om pedagogisk debatt med relasjon til den tidlige barneskolens indre anliggende. To perioder er satt i fokus: Den første startfasen for allmueskolen, representert ved tekster av Erik Pontoppidan (1698-1764). Den andre perioden presenteres ved Ole Vigs (1824-1857) pedagogiske tekster. Tekster fra begge disse periodene drøftes i lys av historisk og samtidig kontekst i norsk, nordisk og europeisk ideperspektiv. Blant annet drøftes barndomshistorie, forståelse av barns læring og av forhold og muligheter for mennesker med funksjonshemninger.
