My research interests lie in child language and literacy development.

Currently, I am working on the SpedAims Kohort project, tracking children's language, reading, writing, mathematics, and social-emotional development from age 4 onwards.

My PhD dissertation focused on the home literacy environment and family interactions of dual language learners. Using nationwide survey data and observational data, I examined specific factors, such as parental expectations, mothers' use of idioms during shared book reading, and children's questions during dinnertime conversations, in relation to children's vocabulary growth.
