TRANGO (completed)

Tranformations in cultural heritage NGOs and museums (Trango) works with museums and cultural heritage organisations to experiment with the ways social media can be used to communicate museum practices and to involve communities and groups of visitors in communicating cultural heritage.

About the project

The TRANGO sub project of CONTACT is built up by several smaller design cases that explores how digital technologies and social media transforms the relation between museums and communities (young people and NGO) in the cultural heritage field:

TRANGO also explores how technology transforms the relation between different professional groups inside the museum when new visitor focus is implemented.
