The first pilot study of the MIRACLE project is running from monday 14th to friday 18th November. During this study, our partners from the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology, Co-Design and Storm Studios test some of our technological solutions. In addition, two groups of students and teachers are also part of the study. We have arranged an experimental setting at InterMedia's studio, where a classroom setting and a museum setting are recreated. In the experiment, digital simulations, motion-detection based games, tangible technologies (Sifteos) and a web-based platform are tried. On the occasion of this study, Jim Slotta, is back at InterMedia to closely collaborate during the collection of data and the first analysis of the results. The outcomes of this study will be very important both for further refining design and development, and for understanding some of the processes involved in learning science with technology.
