Ole Smørdal and Anthony Perritano have been presenting some of MIRACLE's solutions at the 17th International Conference on Computer Technology Supported Learning and Training (Online Educa Berlin, Nov 30 - Dec 2). The conference is a key networking event for the international e-learning and technology-supported learning and training industry. With more of 2000 participants from more than 100 countries, it is the largest of its kind. The theme for this year was "New Learning Cultures", and the conference was held in Berlin. There, Smørdal and Perritano participated in a demo session, where MIRACLE's SciHub was presented and participants could try the technology and get to experience it. SciHub is a portal that connects experiences in the science centres to conceptual learning in classrooms. Through SciHub, collective learning activities, curricula themes and students progress are made available on multiple devices, such as tablets, webpages, and interactive surfaces. SciHub's interface allows teachers and students to shape and follow activities that take place across hybrid spaces, contexts and time.
This conference has meant a wonderful occasion for communicating MIRACLE's technological developments, as well as for getting feedback from other researchers and professionals. In addition, Online Educa Berlin has been a great arena for forging relevant contacts for future collaboration and partnership.
