During these days, Alfredo Jornet and Cecilie Jahreie will be presenting their paper "Designing for immersive learning environments across schools and science museums. Multi-professional conceptualizations of space", at the "Researching Learning in Immersive Virtual Environments" (ReLIVE11) conference. The ReLIVE11 conference is organized by The Open University, and will take place at Milton Keynes (UK). In their paper, Jornet and Jahreie analyze the multi-professional design process which we are conducting in MIRACLE, and illustrate how Cultural Historical Activity Theory (Engeström, 1987) is used in our project in order to foster innovation and development of ideas. The paper focuses on how the different partners of the MIRACLE project negotiate relevant issues of design around the concept of space in a mixed reality setting.
