In this seminar, Eric Dearing will examine the "opportunity gap" as an explanation for social disparities in academic achievement. Drawing on a series of collaborative studies, he will present empirical findings and theoretical insights that address important gaps in research on children's educational opportunities across settings, domains, and stages of development.
Master Gøril Moljord ved Institutt for spesialpedagogikk vil forsvare sin avhandling «Mål og innhold i opplæring for elever med utviklingshemming når inkludering er idealet: En analyse av hvordan opplæringsbehov ivaretas i læreplanforskning, skolepolitikkutforming og planleggingspraksis» for graden Philosophiae Doctor (ph.d.).
