Academic interests

My research focuses the development of educational scales, primarily within the field of mathematics education.

Substantive Focus:

  • Mathematics didactics
  • Numeracy
  • Norwegian context

Methodological Focus:

  • Test-linking and vertical scaling
  • Multidimensional Item Response Theory (MIRT)
  • Differential Item Functioning (DIF)

My current work is under the project Educational Measurement in the Norwegian Context, with principal investigators Rolf Vegar Olsen and Sigrid Blömeke.

Main supervisor: Rolf Vegar Olsen

Co-supervisor: Björn Andersson

In addition, I co-organize the Oslo UseR! group.

Main project

A scale for numeracy
