My research focuses on the Norwegian national assessments, vertical scaling and the numeracy proficiency of Norwegian students. My current work is under the project Educational Measurement in the Norwegian Context, with principal investigators Rolf Vegar Olsen and Sigrid Blömeke.

As part of the overarching project, my PhD-project, A scale for numeracy, is aimed at connecting the Norwegian national assessments in numeracy.

My master thesis focused on what mathematical activities were necessary to solve physics-items in TIMSS Advanced 2015. Additionally, it investigated how Norwegian students performed on items where different activities were assumed necessary. Parallel to my studies i worked as a research assistant in Relekvant.
