About CREATE
CREATE is a Centre of Excellence funded by the Research Council of Norway for the period 2023–2033.
The Centre is organized under the Faculty of Educational Sciences and brings together researchers with academic expertise in education, psychology, sociology, economics, and genetics, as well as methodological expertise in educational measurement, psychometrics, econometrics, statistics, and biostatistics.

In Memory of Professor Sigrid Blömeke (1965-2023)
The Centre for Research on Equality in Education (CREATE) at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, University of Oslo, is pleased to announce the Sigrid Blömeke Scholarship Award. This award has been established in honor of Professor Sigrid Blömeke, founding director of CREATE and a distinguished scholar in the fields of educational measurement, teacher competence, and equality of education.
