The research groups ComPros at the Department of Special Needs Education and TextDim at the Department of Education are hosting an open seminar on Parent-child interaction across early development and cultures. In the seminar the researchers will address topics like parent-infant reading, shared book reading and decontextualized language use during caregiver-child interactions.

The seminar is hosted by the research group Literacy and Numeracy in Context (LiNCon) at the Department of Special Needs Education. Our guest lecturer is Dr. Hélène Deacon, Killam Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience and Director of the Language & Literacy Lab, Dalhousie University, Canada.
