About the research group
EQUAL is an interdisciplinary group combining knowledge from psychology, education, sociology, economics, and quantitative genetics. By using large-scale data and advanced quantitative methods, we aim to provide a clearer picture of how and why inequality develops. Our research is broadly oriented and examines how family factors, gender, ethnicity, early childhood education and care, schools, and neighborhoods influence inequality throughout the life course.
